Variation 5

Variation 5 is a "Game Generator Game" - this is a game where the player (called performers) generate a new game, which is then played. This is an improvisation exercise which invites the participants to play with game design together.

Variation 5 is an experimental game created as part of the "Hand-Made Blaseball" workgroup, during Dagstuhl Seminar 25292. Other games created during the seminar are collected in this itch page. Take a look!

The "generator" part of Variation 5 takes about 20 minutes, and requires 3 people. The game part of Variation 5... well, that depends on what game you create!
